Hi My name is Margaret and I am from Trinidad.  I needed to be 'around' other people who are going through the same experience as i am.  I first was diag with stage II in 2001 but it is back again now and spread to my liver and bones. It was discovered in February this year after two years of pain and a 'million' tests.  
I am a very upbeat person and I love life. I have a lot of support among my sisters (one was diag. with colon cancer this week), husband and childre.  I intent to enjoy life as long as i can


   

Margaret, I'm new to this site and yours is the first post I've read.  I just wanted to let you know that on www.bcans.org, we have a poster (nic = "Debbie from Trinidad) from Trinidad.  She often posts of having problems getting treatment/meds.  Thought you might be interested in getting in touch with her.  If so, go to the site I listed and she has a thread going on the first page of the "support forum."  Best to you.  Judi

Welcome Margaret.  I was diagnosed stage IIIb in 6/01 and with bone mets in 10/02. I am Her2neu+, ER/PR- and have been on chemo since my diagnosis. I am 46 and have 9 and 12 year old sons.  I am excited about the site and look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Margaret and all others who are new. I am a Stage IV, going strong. I was diagnosed in Oct.2001, almost right on five years ago. I had mets to many places on my skeleton and Lymphangitic lungs mets. No lung tumors, but many if not most of my lymph channels in my lungs were outlined in BC. Breathing was getting impossible. Only about 10% of lung mets show this way.

I'm in remission and working each day at getting better in all ways, mind, body and spirit/soul.
