I live in Seattle. I moved from the San Francisco Bay Area last July 4th, after spending my entire life within 50 miles of SF. I am loving the Northwest, and happy to be that much closer to Pete, sigh.

I'm 58 years old. I was widowed three years ago when my beloved husband, Jim, died from Melanoma at age 56. He was diagnosed just as I went into remission from BC. We totally switched roles and I became his caregiver.I miss him everyday.
I have two semi grown sons , Andy 28yrs and Patrick 23 yrs. Good men both of them.
I was, am, an RN. my last job was as program head for a group that offered onsite fulfillment of the USA's OSHA requirements as they pertain to BioTech firms.Big sentence. I lectured on Bio hazards, ran and monitered Hep B&C and AIDs programs. I loved that job. I gave it up after diagnosis because I thot I was a goner. I am somewhat surprised, but not disappointed to still be here, on earth, in this body, learning my lessons.
