This rice goes great with the beef recipe I posted before. It is a simple way to make rice, but what a difference in the taste just by adding a couple extra ingredients!

We know the ratio---2 to 1 for cooking rice.
To the water (before the rice) add sea salt, minced onion & butter to suit your taste. Bring the water to a boil w/ the salt, onion & butter...let it boil for a short time before adding the rice...it infuses the onion/butter flavor. Add the rice and cook til done.  (Care to add a little color to the rice? Throw in a little parsley or cilantro.)

Susan A., what are diet foods? hehe Here's my diet...I eat what I want just less of it...I guess that's portion control.  I hate diets, so I have to do it my way.  smile/@@@.gif
